Part of our Small Batch Collection, this indigo apron was created in partnership with Djiguiyaso, a women-led textile cooperative in Bamako, Mali. The rich indigo pattern is inspired by traditional bogolan dyeing techniques, with hand-tied motifs that reflect generations of craftsmanship and storytelling. Led by Aissata Namoko, Djiguiyaso provides meaningful work for more than 100 women artisans and has been recognized by UNESCO for helping preserve Mali's textile traditions.
Because these textiles are produced using traditional artisan techniques and available only in limited quantities, each Small Batch release is inherently rare. Once our fabric allocation is gone, it’s gone for good.
